The Americans are pushing ever-harder and demand to know the names of the bank's employees. Élisabeth continues her investigation and suspects her brother Alexandre of having wanted to get Paul out of the way in order to take his place at the head of Grangier & Cie. She also discovers that Paul had stolen several million from a Russian client who was in possession of sensitive information about him...
