Max is waiting for Pauline on a café terrace. When she doesn't come Julie tries to comfort him, awkwardly, then panics, cracks and runs off. Touched by her empathy, Max writes a message in the book she'd forgotten and left on the table. Perhaps one day they'll meet again?
