Hit by a car, a young woman wakes up in hospital with a complete loss of memory. She may no longer know who she is, but the police think they have finally found Marina, a little girl kidnapped eleven years earlier. But is she really Marina?
Hélène admits that eleven years earlier, Marina had run away after surprising her with her lover. And that was when she was kidnapped. Superintendent Victoire Eberhart discovers that the man who has been pulling the strings since the beginning is none other than Paul, her lieutenant and Laurent's best friend.
In Ivan Claes' trunk, Laurent discovers a bloody towel and Marina's bracelet. He gives them to Paul for analysis, but the latter burns them. Laurent drags him into the forest, ready to kill him if he won't tell him where his daughter is buried. But Paul isn't the murderer...
Alex is visited by her real mother, Sylvie, who had abandoned her as a baby. Laurent has found Marina's murderer. He takes him to his boat and heads out to sea to torture him. Victoire realises that it's Sully, Hélène's ex-partner, who has been kidnapped by Laurent.
Arrested on his return to harbour, Laurent denies killing Sully. He'd gone fishing and the fish blood masks any evidence the police could have hoped to find. But Victoire is convinced he has taken his revenge. Hélène tells Alex that she has known for a while that she isn't Marina.
