Several years have passed since the black couple, Sali and Paul, adopted a white child, Benjamin. A year after the adoption, the couple had Noé, a child conceived naturally. Two brothers, two very different characters. But the unexpected arrival of an old man perturbs the happy balance of the family.

It's back to school for Benjamin and Noé who find themselves in the same class. Sali is job-hunting, whilst Paul is still a florist. When Lazare, to whom Paul hasn't spoken for years, arrives unexpectedly from the Côte d'Ivoire, the happy balance of the family is put under considerable strain!
