West and Central Africa is currently seeing strong population growth (+2.7% per year), but also continues to confront many difficulties: diseases, high death rates, dangerous traditional customs, political and religious conflicts, unemployment... To face these challenges, discussions have been implemented between the countries at state level, but also on the ground, involving the people themselves.
