Senegal: the Thiès manufactories, from strength to strength

Their tapestries decorate the walls of organisations the world-over and the palaces of innumerable heads of state. Created in the early days of independence, the Senegalese decorative arts manufactories in Thiès almost disappeared, before orders returned in force in the 2000s. Today, they are further diversifying their activities.
