Filter by subtitle language
Antarctica, in the heart of the white continent
The last continent to be explored, Antarctica enjoys a unique legal framework protecting it from appropriation and imposing joint international scientific management. Today, the only humans allowed to set foot in this white desert are scientists and the so-called "last chance" tourists, privileged witnesses of a unique ecosystem.
A report by François Mazure for "Un Monde à Part", the RTS magazine programme.
Guests: François Mazure, RTBF reporter and editor-in-chief; Jérôme Chappellaz, lecturer at EPFL, CNRS senior researcher, former director of the Paul-Émile Victor French Polar Institute.
Presented by: Dominique Laresche.
