The Canadian federal election of 2025, won by the Liberals, took place in Donald Trump's persistent shadow. But beyond diplomatic tension, the new Prime Minister, Mark Carney, will also have to tackle crucial domestic issues: cost of living, energy transition, deterioration of the health service, immigration, etc.
