Dance, cinema, theatre, graphic novels... Yasmina Khadra is an inspiration for artists. Her novels "Ce que le jour doit à la nuit" (adapted by the scenarist Stella Lory and illustrator Marion Duclos) and "Les Sirènes de Bagdad" (adapted by the illustrator Winoc) are published by Philéas to the delight of all her fans who also love the graphic novel.

"Recounting to denounce, recounting to survive. Recounting to share, recounting to learn. Recounting as an act of self-preservation, to avoid forgetting, to exist, but also to entertain..." These carefully chosen words are those of the patron and president of the jury of the French Lebanese Film Festival, Darina Al Joundi. From 23 to 26 November 2023, the organisers promise to screen the best contemporary films from Lebanon, at the Le Lincoln cinema in Paris.

Massinissa Selmani's works are composed of press cuttings juxtaposed with other elements that often appear absurd or mystical. The artist enjoys playing with the fine line between fiction and reality. His first monograph is published by Skira and his work is exhibited at the Pompidou Centre until 8 January 2024. Massinissa Selmani will also be participating in the Taipei Biennial, from 18 November to 24 March 2024, in December his works will be exhibited at the Rhizome gallery in Algeria, and in February 2024 at the gallery run by Jane Lambard, his representative in New York.
