Wrongly accused in a case of adultery, Amel, played by Afef Ben Mahmoud, leaves prison. In a rough area of Tunis, she sets out in search of her son who has disappeared, Moumen, Iheb Bouyahia on the screen, a young football hopeful. A quest that confronts Amel with a Tunisian society in free-fall. Already an award-winner at several festivals (Montreal, Cairo, Malmo...) "Amel et les Fauves" (English title "Streams"), has now been released in France.
In a vibrantly-coloured world adored by social media fans, Anaëlle Myriam Chaaib revives her childhood memories between France and Morocco. Her works can be viewed until 26 April 2023 at the Abderraham Slaoui Foundation Museum in Casablanca.
Having arrived in France in September 2022, Savio Haykal, a student with a passion for music and song, practices his scales on the pianos freely available in Parisian stations and stores. Amongst his favourite pieces, those of the legendary Fairouz. To the delight of his social media followers, the former participant in "The Voice Kids" (Lebanon 2015) has just recorded "Les Yeux de Mama" (Mother's Eyes): a unique version in French and Arabic of the hit by Kendji Girac.
