The society of beautiful people, the social media, his son, Morocco, a face straight out of a film... With his legendary self-derision, Booder is on stage in Paris with "Booder is Back", duly masked and respecting all the barrier gestures, until 3 January 2021 at Le Grand Point Virgule, then on tour. In his autobiography "Un Bout d'Air" (A Bit of Air), published by Hugo Doc, the humorist talks of his early career where improvisation was his only outlet.
"I really wanted to believe it, being the queen is wonderful once and then, ten years later, there's still no ring on my finger..." In her song "Assez Moi de Toi" (Me Enough of You), the singer Karima Nayt hits out at all the smooth-talking womanizers. Her album "Wahdani", available online, was produced by the musician Fathy Salama. From Baden (Switzerland), Karima Nayt talks to us about her show "Ay!", live on stage at the Kurtheater on 22 October 2020.
"I was as often in a state of grace as in disgrace. But whether the one or the other, I rarely knew the reasons. At the age of 15 I was given a place in the Royal Academy in the same class as the eldest of the princes. The former sharif aristocracy, members of the Fez bourgeoisie and the dynasties of administrators serving the Makhzen, it was only natural that their representation was greater than their proportionate number in the kingdom, but care was taken to choose boys from all levels of society to accompany the prince's schooling, and it did not take me long to realise that I was the one with the most humble origins." The career of a man of letters in the entourage of Hassan II, from success to disappointments. In "L'Historiographe du Royaume" (The Historiographer of the Kingdom), published by Grasset, Maël Renouard blends fact and fiction over some thirty years, in Morocco and Paris. His new novel features in the second selection for the Prix Goncourt, awarded on 10 November 2020.
#As seen by Slimane. Guests: Booder, humorist; Karima Nayt, singer (from Baden); Maël Renouard, writer and essayist; Slimane Zeghidour, TV5MONDE editorialist.
