The UN: a system in need of a re-write?

Founded in 1945, UN membership has grown to a total of 193 countries. Its principle: one country = one vote. The international community thus brought together is responsible for preventing wars and discussing global issues. But as certain leaders turn away from the institution, is it losing its political weight?
