Israel: an endless conflict, new alliances

Since its creation in 1948, Israel has lived in a state of tension with the Palestinian territories and its neighbouring Arab states. In this complicated region, it seems impossible to reconcile the differences between the different actors and international law is regularly disregarded. Against this backdrop, new alliances are being formed.
