Jeux de la Francophonie 2023

The kick-off for the biggest sporting and cultural event of the French-speaking world designed for the younger generation is fast approaching! Kinshasa will soon be abuzz with talented artists and athletes from five continents representing their respective countries.

Taking place every four years, following the Olympics, this event invites young people from the French-speaking world to compete in around twenty cultural and sporting competitions and two creative competitions. David Douillet and Marie-José Pérec are famous names from the Games. 

For the 2023 Games, TV5MONDE is showing a special selection of programmes bringing the games' highlights to viewers around the world, including the opening ceremony, the events and the closing ceremony.
