La Rochelle, learning the sea
La Rochelle's Lycée Maritime has been training sailors since 1655. Today, it prepares its students for a wide range of professions linked to the sea. Posidonia seagrass plays an essential role in fighting global warming. But fifty years have seen the area covered by these underwater meadows reduced by half.
