The women salt workers

In Guérande's salt marshes "paludière", the feminine form of "paludier" or salt worker, long-referred to the salt worker's wife, with no professional status. Today 15% of "paludières" run their own salt business. Dominique, Véronique and Morgane recount how their place in a still predominantly masculine profession, changed over the years.
