In 1904, a young engineer from Zurich, Othmar Hermann Ammann (1879-1965) moved to the USA to work. Over his sixty-year career, he built suspension bridges that became icons of modernity. We look back at the life of a visionary builder driven by the dynamism of 20th century America.
