Dried Pears and White Fish from the Loire Valley around Tours
Near Tours, Christine still makes dried pears just as people did in the Middle Ages. A few kilometres away, Romain, one of the last professional fishermen in the Touraine, heads out every morning to fish for mullet and pike-perch. Together, they are upholding the iconic food traditions of their land.
