During a report on Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Marie meets Tom, a young boy who seems to know the philosopher without realising it. Intrigued, she passes the pictures onto Auguste, a specialist, and organises a meeting between them. Young Tom will shake the solitary professor's beliefs.
