The 7th edition of the French culinary week in Israel SO FRENCH SO FOOD, under the patronage of the région Sud of France, will take place from 9th - 13th February in the cities of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Nazareth and Tiberias. The event is organised by the French Embassy in Israel, the French Institute of Israel and Business France.
17 French chefs, including a pastry chef and a baker chef, will come compete this year with Guillaume Gomez, chef of the Elysée Palace and President of the Association of the Cooks of the French Republic. Most of the chefs who are coming to Israel this year are from the South of France. Their amazing talent has been distinguished by the greatest gastronomic guides or by French and international awards. To learn more about French chefs, click here!
They will be hosted in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Nazareth and Tiberias, by Israeli chefs from 11 restaurants and a pâtisserie shop. Together, on February 10th, 11th and 12th, they will prepare some exceptional gastronomic menus that will enable Israeli gourmets to discover or rediscover French cuisine, and in particular the tastes and flavors of the South Region (Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur).
