11 November 1918. The world emerges from the worst conflict ever known. While the victors build a new world order, traumatised peoples rebuild their lives. In the years to come, the major empires collapse while hatred and fear resurface, leading the world to a new apocalypse.

November 1918. 250,000 workers from all over Switzerland take to the streets to demand fair working conditions. The political elite are afraid and call in the army to crush the general strike. This social trauma profoundly influenced the world of work and political culture in Switzerland.

Those now referred to as the Devil's Dogs / Les chiens du diable raise hopes of an Allied victory.
