TV5MONDE was a partner of the Swiss Web Festival which took place this week in Lausanne. The Francophone cultural channel presented 4 programmes in the competition: "Ville de Québec, l'autre visite", "Connexion en cours", "Les Voix du Siècle" et "Paris, l'envers du décor".  TV5MONDE received the Audience Award in the "Culture - Entertainment" category for the programme "Paris, l'envers du décor : une promenade en réalité virtuelle", a production produced in co-production with the Forum des Images.

This web-programme, made up of 3 virtual reality modules, allows the visitor to discover three iconic places in Paris: the Saint-Eustache church, the Hôtel de Ville and the Musée d'Orsay. An amazing 360 ° tour of a Paris full of art and history. These three films, designed by three different directors, are an invitation to travel, to discover the hidden face of its exceptional monuments.

Why in Virtual Reality?
The immersion of the video 360 ° allows an intensification of the emotions and the sensations: the volumes, the architectures reveal all their grandeur, their majesty. By allowing not only to see but to feel the places, 360 ° video is the promise of a revivified, revealed heritage.
