Crème de la Crème presents for the fourth consecutive year a great selection of French films. True to tradition, the festival offers a large "bouquet" of films that have won awards at the biggest international festivals in 20 cinemas throughout Slovakia. The Crème de la Crème festival has become the meeting point for film buffs, francophiles and all those curious about avant-garde cinema that is so often so sensitive and artistically free.
Oscar-winning Spanish director Pedro Almodovar has been named President of the judging panel for the 70th Cannes Film Festival in 2017 “For its 70th edition, the Festival de Cannes is delighted to welcome a unique and hugely popular artist. His works have already carved out an eternal niche in the history of film,” the festival said in a statement. The Festival de Cannes will take place from Wednesday 17th to Sunday 28th May 2017. The Official Selection and Members of the Jury will be announced in mid-April. Read more here
